About the book:

In thirteen electrifying stories that pulse with humor and honesty, Bald Spot deciphers love's brutal arithmetic. Here, the heart is examined in forms both sublime and ridiculous-eulogy interruptions become a chase for phantom limbs, butter races reveal the brutalism of survival, and statues made of teeth stand as monuments to our deepest regrets. With fearless precision, these stories interrogate what it means to be fragile in a world that demands strength, as the absurd mingles seamlessly with the achingly real. Compulsively readable and searingly moving, Bald Spot balances razor-sharp wit with emotional depth, revealing the strange, tender ways we learn to love ourselves and each other.
