Vocales Verticales Spanish Poetry Night

  • Lost City Books 2467 18th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

Please join us and our partners Vocales Verticales for a magical evening of poetry, music, and camaraderie, celebrating the summer solstice!

There will be music from Manuel de la Luz and Ivan Leyton; a poetry reading in a mix of Spanish and English, centered around themes of solstice, transformation, and liberation; and an open mic for anyone who wants to participate. You can read your own work, or bring a favorite poem that you want to share by another author. No need to sign up ahead of time!
