It has been, and continues to be, a long winter of accumulating tons of books -- if you can believe it, too many. Spring is almost here and it’s time for them to find a home!
The used book department at Lost City Books is a big part of what we think (and hope!) makes us special, and a big part of our ethos is continuing the life cycle of books and keeping them in the hands of readers. So, in that spirit -- and the spirit of spring cleaning -- we are pleased to announce our third sidewalk sale!
As in the past, we'll be slinging books at very affordable prices (like, count on one hand kind of deal) all day Saturday and Sunday the 29th and 30th of March. We love our sales as a chance to be outside with our customers, hanging out and talking/selling books! Tons of books from all genres will be available. Hope to see you there!

Some FAQs:

What is it? We need to clean house! Unmarked books outside are on sale; nothing in-store is discounted.

How much will books cost? $2 for paperbacks, $3 for hardcovers, $5 for oversized books. Go to town!

Anything else to know? Cash or cards will be accepted. Bring your own reusable bags (or head inside and buy yourself an LCB tote)!
