Develop your creative writing skills in honor of National Novel Writing Month with our host Jonny!
National Novel Writing Month began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel in thirty days. Now, each year on November 1, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brand new novel. They enter the month as elementary school teachers, mechanics, or stay-at-home parents. They leave novelists.
Hosted by Jonny, this workshop will help you develop your prose writing skills, offer a space to share ideas, and introduce you to the local writing community! Bring your unfinished work, new ideas, and blank sheets of paper to this virtual workshop
This event will be held via Zoom, participants should plan to download the app for their phones or computers and find a quiet, well-lit place to participate. If you would not like to have your video appear on the live stream, you can turn your camera off, however we encourage participants to leave cameras on for better experience. This Zoom meeting will be live streamed on our YouTube page!
